We are a small family-run business seeking a reliable HGV 2 Driver for local collections within the SO and PO areas.
Responsibilities include
- loading and unloading vehicles safely,
- planning routes and adhering to delivery schedules,
- communicating with customers about collection status,
- performing vehicle inspections,
- following traffic laws,
and
- maintaining accurate delivery records.
Qualifications required are
- a valid driving license with a clean record,
- experience operating trucks,
- knowledge of traffic regulations,
- customer service skills,
and
- physical strength for loading/unloading.
Full training will be provided. The role is full-time, paying from £14/hour. Valid Driver CPC is required.
