About Us
Boston Rehabilitation Center/Shore Point Recovery is a substance abuse treatment center in Wareham, MA dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care. We are seeking a responsible and reliable Client Transport Driver/BHT to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our clients’ recovery journey. THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION WITH THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE: FRIDAY-SUNDAY, 7AM-7:30PM. MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
Position Summary
The Driver/BHT will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from our treatment facility, appointments, and approved outings using a company vehicle. When not performing driving duties, this position supports the clinical and operations team by assisting with BHT (Behavioral Health Tech) responsibilities, including client supervision, documentation, and maintaining a safe environment. This position requires professionalism, patience, and sensitivity to the needs of individuals in recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a company vehicle to transport clients to designated locations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during transport.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and supportive environment for all passengers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle; report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility policies.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver preferred, especially in healthcare or human services settings.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
