Position: Experienced School Bus Driver for WCPS
Location: Ponoka
Join Wolf Creek Public Schools as an Experienced School Bus Driver in Alix, Alberta, with duties starting on September 1, 2026. Candidates must possess a valid Class 1 or 2 license and a proven track record of safe driving.
This permanent role requires passing an in-house evaluation and being present for the annual start-up meeting on August 24, 2026. Familiarity with the Alix route and seniority will enhance your application. The successful candidate will also need to ensure completion of preparations before the school year commences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport students on a designated route
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the bus
• Attend training and orientation sessions
• Complete necessary reports and documentation
• Maintain a clean and safe bus environment
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with S Endorsement
• Clean driving abstract and physical fitness
• Prior experience driving school buses
• First Aid Certification recommended
