The CDL Driver will be based out of our local polyurethane foam manufacturing facility.
Minimum Standards for Commercial Vehicle Driver Qualifications
- Must be at least 22 years old with a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Have at least one (1) year verifiable Over-the-Road experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check delivery schedule and receive assignment from supervisor.
- Drive tractor‑trailer to assigned destination. Some destinations will require caution and good driving skills because of limited space and heavy traffic. Back trailers into dock or unloading area as instructed by the customer.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection as required by DOT regulations and record findings on ELD. Check oil, fuel, tires, batteries, etc. on vehicle and report any defects to supervisor.
- Occasionally assist in warehouse when not on the road.
- Maintain hours of service via ELD per company policy.
- Perform shipping and receiving operations.
- Complete daily forklift inspection to include filling out required paperwork.

- Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
