We are building our New York metro operation and are looking for a reliable, professional Delivery Driver to join our team immediately.

🚨 WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
This is not a standard delivery job. You will be handling premium perishable products — including fresh truffles — and representing a luxury French brand at every stop. The chefs and F&B directors you deliver to are among the most demanding professionals in the industry. How you show up matters.

📦 WHAT YOU'LL DO
Daily Operations
• Pack, organize, and load orders onto a company-provided refrigerated van each morning from our NY office
• Execute 10-20 delivery stops per day across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and parts of New Jersey. More delivery stops during the holiday period.
• Deliver both fresh truffle products and shelf-stable items (truffle oils, salts, honey) with precision and care
• Conduct basic inventory checks during loading and flag any discrepancies before departure
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness in the storage and loading area
• Perform occasional Sunday morning airport pickups to receive fresh truffle shipments
Client Interaction
• Obtain client signatures on delivery invoices at every stop and return completed paperwork daily
• Interact professionally and courteously with chefs, kitchen managers, receiving staff, and F&B directors
• Represent the Plantin brand with the professionalism our clients expect — appearance and attitude matter
• Relay any client feedback or issues to the operations and sales team promptly
Vehicle & Compliance
• Operate the company-provided refrigerated van safely and in full compliance with NYC, NJ, and DOT regulations
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately
• Follow all food safety and cold chain handling requirements at all times

✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — required
• 2+ years of delivery driving experience, preferably in food service or perishable goods distribution
• Strong familiarity with NYC metro roads — Manhattan, outer boroughs, and NJ required
• Comfortable with early morning start times
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
• Experience with refrigerated vehicle operation strongly preferred
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills — this is a client-facing role
• Punctual, organized, and dependable — consistency is everything
