Cypress Truck Lines is now hiring Full-Time 2nd & 3rd Shift CDL-A Yard Jockeys. We’re offering immediate start dates, competitive pay, and great benefits. Yard Jockey Job Details:
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
2nd Shift Start Time: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
3rd Shift Start Time: 11:00pm -7:00am
Pay: Starting at $21/hour (based on experience)
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Move empty trailers into the building to be loaded
- Pull loaded trailers and position them under the tarping machine
- Park completed loads in designated yard locations
- Connect, disconnect, and reposition trailers in the yard as needed
- Coordinate incoming drivers with the supervisor and shipping department when necessary
- Assist with general yard duties including picking up debris and supporting the tarping team when needed
- Work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Follow all company safety protocols
Yard Jockey Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A License
- At least 1 year of Tractor-Trailer experience
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test
- Must be 21 years or older
- No DUIs in the last 10 years
- No felonies in the last 7 years
- Clean MVR: No more than 3 violations in 5 years
