Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Winch and Slick Truck Operator to join our dynamic team in North Dakota or Texas in which we offer free housing in either location. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating specialized heavy-duty equipment to support Oil & Gas Rig Moving activities, including winch trucks and slick trucks used for hauling, lifting, and moving rig support equipment. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations, safety, and efficiency across various project sites. Duties
- Operate winch trucks and slick trucks safely and efficiently to transport oil & gas support equipment and supplies across construction sites
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Coordinate with site supervisors, dispatch and other operators to plan logistics and execute tasks seamlessly
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Maintain detailed information of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational incidents
Experience
- Proven experience operating winch trucks or slick trucks and potentially specialized trucks like hydrovacs, side dumpdumps, water or tanker trucks
- Oil & Gas experience preferred but willing to train CDL Operators with a strong background and understanding of site safety procedures and operational best practices
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles including winch trucks, slick trucks, or similar equipment

Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour
