Interfin Health Transportation is a rapidly growing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Wheelchair and Stretcher Transport Drivers to join our team.
Responsibilities
Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, medical appointments, and residences.
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and transferring using proper safety procedures.
Operate wheelchair-accessible vans and stretcher transport vehicles.
Secure wheelchairs and stretchers according to company safety standards.
Complete electronic trip documentation using a mobile device.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be at least 30 years of age.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review.
Ability to lift and assist patients safely (up to 100 lbs with assistance and equipment).
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available for qualified applicants).
Previous NEMT, EMS, healthcare, wheelchair transport, or stretcher transport experience is preferred but not required—we provide training.
