Job Summary

Four C’s Sheet Metal is looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Driver to support our operations through material handling, deliveries, and maintaining an organized yard and warehouse. This role is essential to keeping our projects moving by ensuring materials are received, stored, prepared, and delivered efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in their work, values responsibility, and is committed to supporting both the shop and field teams.

Work Responsibilities


(Include but are not limited to the following)

  • Perform pick-up and delivery of materials, equipment, and fabricated products

    • Receive deliveries, label materials, and store them in their assigned locations
    • Label and stage internally fabricated products for customer pick-up
    • Assist customers and vendors with professionalism during deliveries and pick-ups
    • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard, warehouse, and shop areas
    • Perform light equipment, facility, and preventive maintenance as needed
    • Properly strap, secure, load, and unload materials on trucks
    • Maintain tools and machines in good working condition
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding job status or issues
    • Learn and assist with tasks related to utility operations, warehousing, and shop support
    • Train in additional skills and obtain certifications when available
    • Assist in other areas of the shop as directed by the Shop Supervisor or Shop Manager
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    • Practice sound safety measures and maintain a safe work environment
    • Properly maintain machines and equipment used during work
    • Keep work areas, the yard, warehouse, and shop clean and organized
    • Ensure all paperwork is accurate, readable, and submitted on time
    • Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, dedication, and responsibility
    • Be available to work overtime when required to meet company deadlines
    • Continuously seek ways to improve job performance
    • Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors
    • Conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects positively on the company
    • Progress will be evaluated monthly during the first three months of employment
    • Train and learn all applicable sheet metal fabrication tasks within six months of hire


Work Environment

The majority of the time you will be working independently under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager. Although the work environment and duties are not inherently stressful, this is a fast-paced and responsible position.

The ability to meet pick-up and delivery expectations directly impacts the reputation of the company, customer satisfaction, and overall company profitability. Maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and co-workers is essential.

Direct communication between employees and management in an atmosphere of mutual respect is expected. All employees are expected to support the company mission and perform their work consistent with our values.


Physical Conditions

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the yard and warehouse for extended periods
    • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and handling materials
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs (with or without assistance)
    • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a company vehicle during deliveries
    • Frequent loading and unloading of materials, tools, and prefabricated components
    • Manual dexterity for handling tools, materials, and fabricated components
    • Ability to safely operate or work around material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required
    • Visual and auditory ability to identify hazards, read labels or measurements, operate vehicles safely, and communicate effectively


Environmental Conditions

  • Work performed in a yard and warehouse environment that may be partially open to outdoor elements
    • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain depending on the season
    • Regular travel to job sites or supplier locations while operating a company vehicle
    • Exposure to road traffic conditions and varying driving environments
    • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels from equipment, tools, vehicles, and nearby production activities
    • Exposure to dust, dirt, metal materials, and construction-related debris
    • Regular movement of materials and equipment in the area, including forklifts and machinery
    • Compliance with safety protocols and required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vests, and steel-toe boots
