Overview
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Semi Driver / Flatbed Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient pickup and delivery of material to residential and commercial job sites while maintaining the highest level of customer service and job site accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL Semi truck with Flatbed trailer
- Pickup material from vendors and deliver to job sites per company standards
- Verify all materials are correct before leaving the yard and jobsite
- Stock material according to proper procedures (placement, distribution and safety)
- Take jobsite photos for documentation and completion verification
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff and customers
- Ensure truck is properly maintained, fueled and ready for daily operations
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to maintain safety standards and prevent breakdowns
Qualifications
- Must have Flatbed experience. **Please do NOT apply if you are not experienced.**
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL/Class A) with Air Brake Endorsement
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Semi, Flatbed trailer experience required (2 year minimum)
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Must pass drug test
