Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Regional CDL A Company Driver and take charge of delivering freight across designated regions with energy and professionalism! In this vital role, you’ll operate New tractor-trailers equipped with automatic transmission, hauling a variety of cargo including dry van, refrigerated trailer and lots of drop and hook. Your expertise in driving, load & unload procedures, and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and enjoy consistent regional routes that keep you close to home. 34 hour resets taken at home. Three year minimum CDL A experience required.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport diverse freight
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition and compliance with safety standards
- Manage route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers with at least two years experience
- Proven truck driving experience in regional routes, including freight delivery and load & unload responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance
- Excellent route management skills with the ability to plan efficiently for timely deliveries
