Ready-Mix Concrete Driver (Experienced Drivers Only)
Only applicants with 2 years Ready-Mix concrete truck driving experience and a valid Class A or Class B CDL will be considered.
We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused Ready-Mix Concrete Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a ready-mix concrete truck to safely deliver concrete to customer job sites while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Perform daily servicing and basic maintenance of the truck, keeping both the interior and exterior clean.
- Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in accordance with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and dispatch instructions.
- Operate truck controls, including steering, transmission, and associated equipment.
- Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites efficiently while ensuring product quality.
- Add materials such as fiber, color, or other approved additives to concrete mixes when required.
- Verify product quality, including slump and other job specifications.
- Wash out the mixer drum and chutes after deliveries and dispose of slurry according to company procedures.
- Monitor vehicle gauges during operation, identify abnormalities, and perform minor field maintenance when appropriate.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including:
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- High-visibility vest
- Steel-toe boots
- Gloves
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and take appropriate action to avoid hazards while operating equipment and working on job sites.
- Report to work on time, prepared, and ready to perform assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- 2 years previous Ready-Mix concrete truck driving experience is required.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug screening.
- Clean driving record (five years preferred).

Working Conditions
This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other environmental conditions typical of construction and concrete delivery operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
