CDL-A Trainee Program

Got your CDL and ready to get to work? NIS Express is hiring entry level Class A drivers for dry van routes in Missouri, and we put real money behind your training instead of leaving you to figure it out on your own. If you recently finished truck driving school, this is built for you.

THE NUMBERS

• $650/week during training
• $1,000/week guaranteed for your first 3 months
• $1,400 to $1,800/week average once you’re rolling solo

THE TRAINING
4 to 6 weeks with a personal trainer riding with you. Real freight, real routes, real paycheck while you learn. You go solo when your trainer signs off — not before.

You’ll learn:

• Class A operation on live routes
• ELD and hours-of-service rules
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Working with dispatch the right way

THE JOB

• Dry van freight, mainly east of I-35
• Bi-weekly home time
• DOT compliant, no excuses
• ELD logs and DVIRs kept current
• Equipment inspected every shift, every time

WHAT YOU NEED

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21+
• 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
• Clean driving record
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen
