Owner Operator Drivers Wanted — Amazon Hook & Drop Lanes Jobs in Newark at Davy Jones Trucking LLC
Looking for owner-operators based in the Baltimore area who want steady Amazon work and a dispatch team that actually answers the phone.
Our model is simple: we have direct Amazon contracts, you have a truck. We dispatch you, you run the freight, we pay you every Friday.
The freight:
- Drop-and-hook only (no loading, no unloading)
- Regional lanes — most loads under 400 miles
- Routes through MD, PA, NJ, DE, NY
- Home weekly, often mid-week too
The partnership:
- Tiered dispatch fees (start at 15%, drop to 13% then 11% as volume grows)
- Transparent weekly costs (insurance, ELD, IFTA — all itemized)
- No forced dispatch on personal time
- Fuel discount program
What you need:
- Class A CDL, 1+ year experience
- Tractor 2015 or newer (sleeper preferred, day cab OK on shorter lanes)
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Your own MC authority OR willing to operate under ours
- Smartphone for ELD and load updates
