We are a Miami based company seeking a dedicated and experienced Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. This role is essential for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Duties
- Operates a sleeper truck with a 53 ft dry van
- Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road.
- Navigate routes using GPS systems while being aware of road conditions and traffic regulations.
- Uphold a professional demeanor when interacting with clients during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with two years experience
- Strong route driving skills with an understanding of logistics and delivery processes.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
