Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Industrial CDL B Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Safely operate CDL B licensed roll-off trucks, including front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers for waste collection and material transport
- Load and unload materials using manual lifting techniques or mechanical equipment such as front loaders or forklifts when necessary
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Drive in adherence to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while maintaining a professional demeanor on the road
- Coordinate with dispatch to plan routes efficiently and meet scheduled pick-up and delivery deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly to maintenance teams
- Assist with loading or securing loads as needed to ensure safe transportation of materials
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL B) with appropriate endorsements for roll-off trucks and manual transmission operation
- Proven experience as a commercial delivery or dump truck driver, preferably with heavy lifting responsibilities in industrial settings
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers
- Ability to load & unload materials manually or using mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining safety standards
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving, vehicle maintenance, and material handling
