In this role, you’ll focus on local deliveries for the Ottawa area, working with either a straight truck or tractor-trailer. Flexibility is essential, as start times may change based on delivery demands. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are completed on time while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and pick up packages in the Ottawa service area
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Meet strict delivery timelines with accuracy
• Be prepared for flexible work hours as needed
• Operate handheld delivery equipment (with training)
Requirements:
• Valid AZ/Class 1 Driver’s Licence required
• Clean criminal record and driving history
• Ability to lift cargo exceeding 50 lbs
• Forklift certification (training available)
• Strong local knowledge of routes and customers
