Central Arkansas Petroleum Transport is hiring a fuel delivery transport driver in FORT SMITH.
3 years of Class A CDL experience required
Position involves delivering gas and diesel to retail convenience stores in generally a 90 mile radius of FORT SMITH. Drive a late model day cab with an automatic transmission.
Need to live within 60 miles of FORT SMITH or relocate within 60 days of hire. Small company atmosphere with above average pay and benefits
HOME EVERYDAY. 12 HOUR SHIFTS. 5 day work week that averages about 55-60 hours weekly. Work an entirely optional 6th day if it suits you for additional earnings. On an annual basis you will make between $60000 – $70000. Get paid weekly on Friday.
NEW Yearly longevity bonus- 1% of Gross annual pay for each year of service. i.e.- if you earned $65k in the past year and have been with the company 5 years your bonus would be 5×$650= $3250
This is the type of trucking position that is difficult to find. We don’t advertise constantly. Our turnover rate is low. Most of our drivers have been with the company for years. Be HOME EVERY DAY and make as much, or in many cases more than OTR drivers .The company has around 40 drivers, we know our drivers by their first name.

The dispatcher has over 30 years experience. Every experienced truck driver knows how valuable a competent, fair dispatcher is to making the job go smoothly and we have one of the best. Being honest and not having frequent preventable accidents will ensure you will be a long term member of our team.
For those who have never hauled fuel- GAS HAULING IS ONE OF THE BEST PAYING, LOCAL CDL DRIVING JOBS AVAILABLE…IT IS NOT PHYSICALLY DEMANDING WORK. TO SUCCEED YOU NEED TO BE SAFE, HAVE A STRONG WORK ETHIC, AND HAVE SOME COMMON SENSE. If you do not have fuel hauling experience, it takes around 3 weeks to learn to load/deliver gas safely. This training is PROVIDED AND PAID.
THREE years of tractor trailer experience REQUIRED. Class A CDL w/HAZMAT and TANKER ENDORSEMENT required.
A GOOD DRIVING RECORD IS IMPORTANT. A good work history is a must. We won’t hire people who have a history of constant job hopping.
