Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting an experienced HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver for a temp-perm position with one of our valued clients in Poole. The role will involve a small amount of warehouse work.

- Position: HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver + warehouse work
- Location: Poole
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 08:00 – 17:00
Pay
Pay Rates (PAYE Advanced Holiday Pay)
£15.24 per hour
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and professionally
- Occasional warehouse work after deliveries are complete
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks
- Keeping accurate delivery and service records
- Following all road transport legislation and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with customers and the transport team
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
- A valid UK HGV 7.5T (Category C1) licence
- A digital tachograph card
- At least 6 months of recent commercial driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Your own transport to travel to and from the depot
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
- Free CPC training
- Potential temp-to-perm opportunities
- Ongoing support from a dedicated local Driver Hire team
