Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Installation Technician to join our team in the Los Angeles area. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting other field technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of monitoring equipment and property operations across the region. While previous experience is preferred, it is not required—we are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, work hard, and grow with us. You will be working nights and weekends to ensure our clients’ security systems are installed and functioning optimally. $25/hour + CDL add on
Scope of Work:
- Assist field technicians with the installation of security camera systems, including wiring, mounting, and configuring devices according to specifications and safety standards.
- Towing equipment to job sites with a pickup truck and flat bed trailer-CDL
- Provide on-site support for system maintenance and troubleshooting during installations.
- Use tools such as electrical testing equipment to help ensure proper installation and operation of systems.
- Collaborate closely with technicians to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document installation processes, maintenance checks, and repairs performed during the installation process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions or concerns during the installation process.
- Assist in the safe transportation and handling of security equipment to job sites.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in installation or technical support roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to drive a pickup truck and prior towing experience preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and experience with tools is helpful but not necessary—willingness to learn is key.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- A valid driver’s license may be required to travel to job sites.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, based on project requirements.
