Class A Driver
Spillane’s Nursery & Landscape Co. Inc. seeks a full-time CDL Class A driver. This is a full time position with 40 hours plus during Spring, Summer, and Fall with snow removal in the winter.
Duties:
· Pickup and/or Deliver Various types of landscape materials
· Comfortable in Dump Trailers, Tri Axles and 6-Wheelers
· Be able to operate Wheel loaders/ skid steers to load/unload product and materials
· Drive/Operate Water truck (3000 gal) throughout the landscape season as necessary
· Maintains safe and healthy work environment by inspecting trucks and machines prior to use and adhering to legal regulations.
· Preferred experience in the construction / landscape industry
· Fill out Daily Job Sheets tracking man hours and work performed day to day
· Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for or documenting necessary repairs.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
People Skills, Truck Driver, Basic Safety, Attention to Detail, Tree and Plant identification/ handling skills, Heavy Equipment Operation, General knowledge of landscape/construction materials

Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
