Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Truck Driver / Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient pickup & delivery of golf carts (typically 2-6 per day) while providing exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth. You will be responsible for safely operating our work truck/trailer, and assisting with loading and unloading the carts. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us maintain high standards of service and safety on every route.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate truck/trailer across designated delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload carts using a winch and manual lifting parts, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Deliver products to customers’ locations efficiently while providing excellent customer service and professional communication
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure trucks are in optimal condition for daily operations
- Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, order picking, and organizing stock for efficient loading
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve overall operational efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier (specifically pulling a trailer), preferably with route driving responsibilities involving box trucks or similar vehicles
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members
- Hands-on experience with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and inventory handling
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding environments (100 + lbs)
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience towing trailers is preferred
- Willing to train the right candidate
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
