Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Delivery Driver based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting products to designated locations while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Daily tasks include vehicle inspections, maintaining delivery schedules, loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling of products, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries. Coordination with the logistics team to meet delivery targets will also be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proven driving experience with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on professionalism and effective communication
- Basic knowledge or experience with Forklift Operation, with proper certification being a plus
- Capability and willingness to engage with Sales and delivery-related operations
- Ability to manage delivery-related tasks within industries like Food & Beverage or similar
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to manage loading and unloading tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are an advantage
