Job Summary
Callahan Supply is a local Redi-Mix and Concrete Construction supply company is hiring for full time and part time positions.
Must have a valid commercial driver’s license Class A or B
- Deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites ensuring the correct consistency of the product ordered
- Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws
- Performs basic vehicle maintenance on mixer truck, i.e. checking fluids, lights, tires, conducting pre-trip inspections, etc.
- Keeps the inside and outside of the vehicle clean including the removal of concrete buildup on the exterior parts of the vehicle and the drum
- Pours, sets and moves concrete blocks
- Performs minor plant maintenance and janitorial duties
- Fosters positive customer relations
- Collects money from COD customers and turns it in to Plant Manager
- Must be willing to work according to customer demands
- Operates a radio and tablet to communicate with company officials
- Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Employment Requirements/Qualifications
- Possession of valid driver license with CDL Class B or higher with air brake endorsement
- Clean/safe driving record
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical
- Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, twist, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 50 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit
- Ability to read a map and follow verbal or GPS directions
- Must have excellent attendance record and be punctual
- Ability to work well with others on the team and have a positive attitude
- Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, Saturdays and nights, may be required
