Service and Supply Solutions Company is seeking a dependable, professional Weekend CDL Driver to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent weekend work with competitive pay. You will operate a variety of commercial vehicles and equipment on a Thursday through Sunday schedule, supporting our operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Schedule
- Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Shift: Full day shifts (exact hours may vary based on route/load requirements)
- Consistency: Regular schedule — same days each week
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of commercial vehicles and equipment during scheduled shifts, including semi-trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, box trucks, trailers, and related heavy equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections; complete required logs and reports.
- Load, secure, transport, and deliver materials/freight safely and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or incidents.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Coordinate with the rest of the team to ensure seamless handoffs and continuity of operations.
- Be able to lift 50–100 lbs. as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience required.
- Valid CDL (Class A or B — specify as applicable).
- Experience operating multiple types of commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Must pass the DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Availability to work consistently Thursday through Sunday.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
