We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented CDL Driver to join our team. This isn’t just a "behind the wheel" job; you’ll be the backbone of our local logistics, handling everything from safe transport in a box truck to maintaining an organized warehouse. If you enjoy a mix of driving, operating machinery, and keeping inventory tight, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Local Transport: Safely operate a box truck to perform daily local shipping from the warehouse to the factory. No over-the-road (OTR) travel, you’ll be home every night.
- Material Handling: Load and unload shipments using a forklift with precision and a focus on safety.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock. Perform basic inventory counts and ensure the warehouse remains organized.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the box truck is in top working condition.
Qualifications & Skills
- License: Valid CDL, Airbrake endorsement with a clean driving record.
- Experience: * Proven experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
- Highly experienced forklift operator.
- Previous exposure to inventory control or warehouse management systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the shift.
- Attributes: Strong sense of punctuality, attention to detail, and a "safety-first" mindset.
