Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, garbage trucks, & roll off trucks.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Deliver scrap metal/non ferrous to various locations across assigned routes, maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver rubbish to landfill
- Deliver roll off containers to customers
- Efficiently follow a route to service residential and commercial with garbage service
- Maintain communication with office personal regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and safely.
- Experience with different truck types such as roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures, forklift operation, and safety protocols.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively on scheduled routes. This role requires a motivated professional eager to deliver excellence every mile of the way!
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
