Established in 1955, our company is a leading steel stockholder and processor in the UK with a strong focus on customer service and safety. We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join our team, responsible for multi-drop deliveries, material movement, and occasional warehouse assistance.
- Ensure safe, efficient delivery and collection of goods, maintaining vehicle condition and adhering to VOSA regulations.
- Plan routes to optimize efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and stock management in the warehouse.
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold safety standards.
- Contribute to team meetings and company strategies.
Skills required include a minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience, familiarity with straps, chains, and safety practices, along with a valid Class 2 license, Driver CPC (preferred), and good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations. The role offers a £14.72/hour wage, annual bonuses, pension, health benefits, development opportunities, and 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
