Join our team as a CDL Regional Driver and become a vital link in delivering essential freight across designated regions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to have home time with your family. These are dedicated runs and only lasting as long as 5 days maximum. As a CDL Regional Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Your expertise in driving and load management will keep our operations running smoothly while providing you with a rewarding career on the road.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across regional routes.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Drive efficiently along assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or issues encountered on the road.
- Assist with special delivery requirements such as handling refrigerated goods or specialized equipment for flatbed or tanker loads.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (e.g., tanker, flatbed).
- 2 years experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks is preferred. Automatic is accepted.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual techniques.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and DOT regulations governing commercial driving.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
