Employment Type: Probationary (5 months)
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, including ORO Socks and OMG Cosmetics, to various clients, stores, and distribution points. The role includes route planning, vehicle maintenance checks, loading and unloading of products, and ensuring all delivery documents are accurately processed.
- Deliver goods to assigned stores, clients, or partners on time and in good condition.
- Load and unload items securely while observing proper handling procedures for fragile or cosmetic products.
- Inspect delivery vehicle regularly to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
- Verify and secure delivery documents such as waybills, delivery receipts, and invoices.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, sales teams, and recipients during deliveries.
- Collect proof of delivery (POD) and report any issues or discrepancies encountered during the route.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery policies at all times.
- Perform basic troubleshooting in case of vehicle issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Assist in warehouse tasks during downtime or when required.
- At least high school graduate.
- With a valid Professional Drivers License (Restriction Codes 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent for vehicle type used).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in delivery driving or logistics (experience handling FMCG, cosmetics, or apparel is a plus).
- Good knowledge of local delivery routes and traffic regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting moderately heavy boxes (up to [insert kg, e.g. 25kg]).
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
- Can work with minimal supervision and flexible with work hours.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
