Best Driving Academy, part of BEST Logistics Group, is now hiring dynamic go-getters for our CDL Instructor role!
Best Driving Academy is the newest addition to BLG, based in Burlington, NC, that was created with a focus on providing a quality education to each student ready to jump behind the wheel of their career as a CDL Driver.
At Best Driving Academy, our goal is to prepare our students for real world opportunities by providing them with training in a state-of-the-art environment that utilizes technology and trainers with proven industry experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced driver instructor that can work well in a team environment and provide constructive feedback and real world knowledge as they prepare students to obtain their CDL.
Job Duties
- Provide instruction to students in both a classroom and range environment.
- Maintain a safe environment from both students and instructors.
- Provide instruction in a classroom environment.
- Provide instruction behind the wheel and range instruction for a Class A Tractor Trailer
- Observe, document, and provide feedback to students as necessary to improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Set up the classroom and range daily as needed.
Qualifications
- Posses a Class A CDL License
- At least 5 years experience driving a Class A CDL Vehicle.
- At least 2 years experience driving within the last 5 years.
- Be able to become a licensed instructor by the State of North Carolina.
