CDL-A 2nd Shift Switcher

As a switcher with Stone Transport you will be responsible for monitoring 4 scrap chutes. Trailers are loaded by the switcher then tarped. You must be proficient in backing up tandem and multi axle trailers and pay close attention to safety and must maintain a clean work area. Schedule is Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm.

Weekend work will be frequent, every 3rd weekend off – weekends are 12 hour shifts Equipment:

• Heavy Duty Tractors/Trailers manual 18 speed.
• 5-6 axle Framed End Dump trailer

The Ideal Yard Switching Candidate must be able to:

• Work assigned schedule
• Work overtime, including weekends, if needed
• Pass a pre-employment backgrounds checks

Experience:

• CDL Class A
• 18 speed Manual transmission
• End Dump trailer experience REQUIRED
• Heavy Equipment Experience preferred
• Must be able to back into tight spaces

Full-Time Year Around Work
Pay Structure:

• Hourly pay + OT after 40hrs
• Weekly Paychecks

• 18 speed Manual transmission
• End Dump trailer experience REQUIRED
• Heavy Equipment Experience preferred
• Must be able to back into tight spaces

Wage Range: 1600.00 – 2000.00 per week
