Role Description This full-time Assistant Trailer Truck Driver role is an on-site position based in Taguig. The role involves supporting the lead driver in operating trailer trucks safely, assisting with route navigation, and ensuring that cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded at delivery locations. The Assistant Trailer Truck Driver will help conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor vehicle condition, and report any maintenance issues promptly. Daily tasks include following company safety procedures, complying with transport regulations, completing basic delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch and customers as needed. The role requires punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid CDL Class A license or local equivalent, with a strong understanding of Trailer Truck operations
- Practical experience or training in Truck Driving and safe vehicle maneuvering
- Ability to assist with Unloading and handling cargo using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations or comparable local transport and safety regulations
- Strong awareness of road safety, vehicle inspection procedures, and basic mechanical understanding
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work on-site in Taguig with flexible hours and varying routes
- Prior experience in logistics, freight, or delivery operations is an advantage
- Clean driving record and adherence to company policies and safety standards
