Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, monitor, and support the post-shipment operations team, ensuring timely completion of all activities.
Shipment Tracking & Coordination: Monitor and track all shipped vehicles until final delivery, ensuring proactive follow-ups with shipping lines and agents.
Documentation Management: Oversee preparation and verification of all post-shipment documents (BL, invoices, export certificates, etc.), ensuring accuracy and compliance and timely dispatch the document to the destination.
Customer & Agent Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for customers and overseas agents, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
Issue Resolution: Handle shipment-related issues such as delays, document discrepancies, or clearance challenges, providing effective solutions.
Cost & Invoice Management: Review shipping and post-shipment invoices to ensure cost efficiency before submission to finance.
Data & System Updates: Maintain accurate records in internal systems, ensuring real-time visibility.
Process Improvement: Identify gaps in workflows and implement process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or export operations, with exposure to post-shipment processes.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams with strong communication skills.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping documentation and export compliance is a strong advantage.
Problem Solving: Ability to handle issues with a proactive approach.
Cost Awareness: Understanding of shipping and logistics costs to ensure cost-efficient operations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, ERP/CRM systems, and tracking tools with attention to detail.
