Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Flatbed Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating flatbed trucks to transport freight across various routes during the week; so you can be home for the weekend. You’ll ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in handling various types of cargo, including securement on flatbeds, is essential to our success.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance

Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed trucks with automatic transmission efficiently and safely across designated routes.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly on flatbeds.
- Transport a variety of freight adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and freight delivery details in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while managing route changes or delays proactively.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving and freight transportation.
- Tanker and hazardous endorsements are a plus.
- Familiarity with route planning and route driving best practices for timely deliveries.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement.
