This Yard Driver is responsible for driving trailers to and from receiving/shipping docks inside the yard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive trailers to and from receiving/shipping docks inside the yard
- Understand product description, SKU and PO numbers
- Reading comprehension and ability to communicate in writing
- Operate packaging and material movement equipment
- Work with and around forklifts and conveyer systems
- Work closely in a team environment to complete daily tasks and goals
- Adherence to all company policies to include all safety rules
- Additional duties as assigned by manager
Scope
- Organizational Scope – All US locations/Single Category/Region/District/Distribution Center
The anticipated rate for this position is $26.50 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays).
