Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will manage the safe delivery of drilling, completion, and production equipment. Essential skills include conducting pre-trip inspections, communicating with dispatch, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The successful candidate will operate various trailers, handle heavy equipment, and lead the training of swampers on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre, post, and en route inspections of the truck
• Liaise with dispatch to confirm transport directions
• Load and secure rental equipment safely
• Provide training and support to swampers
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and manufacturer specs
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 driver’s license is required
• Extensive experience with winch tractors and trailers
• Familiarity with heavy equipment in oil and gas
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions
