Lead Wheelchair Transportation Driver (NEMT)
Full‑Time – $18-$20/hr – Company Vehicle Provided
KNB Solutions LLC is a growing Non‑Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider serving Lorain County. We are hiring a Lead Driver to operate our wheelchair‑accessible van, provide safe and reliable transportation, and help set the standard for future drivers as our company expands.
This is a full‑time, stable position with a consistent schedule, paid training, and a company‑provided vehicle.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary driver for our wheelchair‑accessible van
- Provide safe, courteous transportation to medical appointments, dialysis, therapy, and essential destinations
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility devices
- Maintain on‑time performance and communicate professionally with dispatch
- Complete trip logs, mileage reports, and basic vehicle checks
- Help establish best practices for future drivers as the company grows

What We’re Looking For
- Clean driving record and valid Ohio driver’s license
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable assisting passengers who use wheelchairs
- Able to lift, push, and secure mobility devices safely
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience in NEMT, paratransit, medical transport, or caregiving is a plus
- Leadership mindset — someone who takes pride in doing things the right way
Schedule
- Full‑time
- Consistent daytime hours
Pay
$18-$20/hr (company vehicle provided)
Certification Bonus: Applicants who already hold valid CPR/First Aid and Passenger Assistance Training (PAT) certifications are eligible for a $500 bonus, paid after 90 days of employment.
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
