Looking for an OTR driver who can stay out three or more days a week. Home Weekends! No Holidays! Dedicated Lanes!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including Vans, End-dumps, possibly flatbed or tankers.
Typical locations of driving: Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations..
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Must have Fed med and consent to random DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Experience with van trailers, tankers, or flatbed trucks is a plus.
- Knowledge of delivery routes and logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
