Railey Design is a home furnishings and design store located in Friendsville, MD is looking for a delivery driver/warehouse person. A successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, reliable and team oriented.
The position requires to be active in:
- Receiving deliveries to warehouse including unloading freight, inspecting merchandise for damages, documenting damages, and reporting received goods and any damages in a timely manner
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the # of items and charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and conflict resolution.
- Engage customers on a regular basis to ensure outstanding service which requires a professional presence to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors
- Attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds regularly
- Prior experience in furniture receiving and delivery operations preferred
