Position Description

Day-to-day, you will work closely with the logistics and order teams. This is primarily a warehouse shipping/receiving role, with Linde reach trucks on site.
Experience
Experience dealing with chemicals/dangerous goods (GHS/TDG)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
Experience with Sage X3, or similar ERP system an asset
Ability to lift heavy objects (50kg) required
Prepare order for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
Oversee freight handling and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements
Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location
Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Report any discrepancies in inventory to management
Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Previous experience safely operating lift trucks required (Linde trucks on site)
Excellent communication, time management and task delegation skills
Ability to work in a team environment, oversee tasks and ensure deliverables are met
Qualifications
Forklift license an asset
Previous forklift experience required (Linde trucks on site)
Experience dealing with chemicals/dangerous goods (GHS/TDG)
Previous WHIMIS and Safety Training an asset
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
