Vacuum Truck Driver Jobs in Rosebush, MI at Miller Energy Company II, LLC.
Miller Energy is excited to develop energy and empower people! We are seeking an experienced vacuum truck operator with a valid CDL-A. This job involves loading, unloading, and transporting oilfield fluids between facilities, as well as treating wells to maintain wellbore integrity and optimal production. Job Duties
- Begins and ends day from Rosebush, MI shop and completes work within 1.5hrs from shop. (No overnight travel)
- Performs daily safety checks of fluid levels, leaks, and damage to vacuum truck before operation. Responsible for daily maintenance of vacuum truck to remain in proper and safe working order.
- Drives vacuum truck between Rosebush shop and fields. Secures and safely transports fluids according to company policy and DOT regulations.
- Operates vacuum pump on truck to load and unload fluids from throughout the fields. Uses centrifugal or gear pump to pump down wells or into other tanks.
- Gauges oil and brine tanks. Skims oil off water tanks as needed.
- Loads and unloads 2” and 3” suction hoses from the hose trailer.
- Manipulates valves with a wrench for adjusting fluid control.
- Reads SDS for chemical instructions and safety warnings. Accurately mixes chemicals with water for wells requiring corrosion, paraffin, emulsion, or clay stay treatment. Treats wells accordingly.
- Operates triplex on truck to pressure test wells and flowlines.
- Completes daily reporting of work performed per location for billing and regulatory purposes.
- Opportunity to fill weekend Relief Pumper role if interested and qualified.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Job Qualifications
- Local – you must live within 45 minutes from our Rosebush, MI shop.
- CDL – to drive a vacuum truck, the DOT requires you to have a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and a DOT Medical Certificate.
- Safety focused – everyone plays a role in keeping our entire team safe, so we are looking for a safety-focused individual.
- Mechanically inclined – the role requires an ability to work with triplexes and various pumps, in additional to troubleshooting basic oilfield-equipment issues.
- Reliable – we need reliable workers with an outstanding attendance record and reliable transportation to work.
