Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Vacuum Truck Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks to perform a variety of tasks including hauling water to and from location, pulling bottoms, transferring oil, and assisting other crews on location. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations in accordance with company policy and those of our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate vacuum trucks equipped with hauling water to and from location, pulling bottoms, transferring oil on location
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate with site supervisors, direct supervisors, and dispatchers to schedule work and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, including volume of waste removed, routes taken, and equipment used.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to environmental regulations.
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience driving, with at least 1 year experience in a vacuum truck.
- Valid US commercial driver’s license (CDL A with tankers endorsement)
- Be willing to learn and flexible
- Be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and have clean MVR prior to starting
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel in fast-paced environments. Must be able to use technology for daily tasks including DOT logs, customer paper work, ext.
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
