Job Overview
500 Express INC is a FedEx contractor. We are looking for a full time driver to drive M-F. The job will run from roughly 11AM to 9pm . The main days are Monday through Friday. Pay is 36% of what the route pays 500 Express INC. Drivers currently average $300-375 a night.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive tractor-trailers-Doubles and Triples endorsement required.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving. Must have 1 year experience in the last 3 or 5 years in the last 10. If you have 6 months experience and went to a truck driving school that will qualify for 1 year experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform vehicle inspections.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
