Job Overview
The current position we are looking for is a night position out of Industry, CA. This position is STARTING AT 11:00 PM We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Duties MUST HAVE DOUBLES ENDORSEMENT
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations..
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo details in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Manage routes efficiently to minimize delays and optimize delivery times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driving license (CDL).
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred but limited to
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving and freight transportation.
- Excellent navigation skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems effectively.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.
