CDL Solo Run Driver – Dedicated Route
Pulling Freight Inc. is hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers for dedicated Solo Runs operating out of the Morton, IL hub.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with doubles/triples endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Must possess at least 1 year of Class A CDL driving experience within the most recent 3 years
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on company hiring standards
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles
- Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
- Drop & Hook only – No-touch freight
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports
- Maintain accurate daily logs
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch regarding delays, arrivals, or equipment issues
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
SCHEDULES:
- Full-Time Driver – Monday through Friday
- Schedule: Approximately 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Full-Time Driver – Sunday through Thursday
- Sunday shift: 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Monday – Thursday shifts: Approximately 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Weekend Driver Position – Friday through Sunday
- Friday shift: Approximately 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Saturday: Flexible afternoon/evening start time
- Sunday shift: 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM
- Additional days may be available if desired
