Truck Driver Class A Jobs in Durango, CO at Sunnyside Gravel & Excavation
Duties:
– Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dumptrucks, bellydumps & lowboys
– Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Qualifications:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
– Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts is preferred.
– Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for truck operation.
– Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
– Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo.
It is a bonus if you have heavy equipment operating experience!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
