Truck Driver Job Summary
SUBMIT RESUME WITH DRIVING RECORD
Drivers drive, control, and maintain trucks equipped with dump body to transport and dump materials needed for assignments in a safe, efficient manner. Drivers will work in a fast-paced, physically intense environment. Safety is a top priority for Drivers and must have knowledge of safe operation-including three points of contact, rules of the road, and abide by DOT safety requirements. Drivers report directly to the Foreman/Supervisor. Woman are welcomed and encouraged to apply!
Certifications and Qualifications
- 1C-2A Hoisting License (at least)
- Valid Commercial Driver’s; License Class A WITH driving record.
- DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
- OSHA 10 Certification
Duties and Responsibilities
- Dump Trailer & Low Bed work consisting of moving heavy loads.
- Physical Labor at utility construction projects.
- Transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or bituminous paving materials.
- Performs daily inspection on equipment for issues and/or deficiencies.
- Completes inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman/Supervisor of any issues/defects.
- When not driving, will assist crew as needed.
- Adheres to all DOT safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Position includes a minimum of 8 hours and 5 days.
- Depending on a task or job, project duties may be unforeseen 24 hours, 7 days a week, subject to Massachusetts law.
- Supervisor contact is subject to company organizational chart and or directed by the CEO.
- Employee travel, travel time, and expense is at employee responsibility, unless directed by the CEO in writing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70.00 – $80.00 per hour
