Schedule: 7 day a week operations 8-12 hours per day depending on route assignment. Routes are in the New England & NY area. Driver will receive 2 days off (Saturday or Sunday with one additional day during the week)
- Class A $3,000.00 Sign on Bonus
- Class B $2,000.00 Sign on Bonus
Compensation: Increases to follow via Local Union contract May 1st.
CDL A Hourly Rate: $26.00
CDL B Hourly Rate: $21.74
Essential Functions:
- Operate tractor trailer truck within assigned routes in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner
- Make deliveries to Tourtellot & Co., Inc. independent retailers, providing best in-class customer service
- Must have the ability to safely and solely bend, lift and move up to 50 lbs. and enter and exit truck throughout shift
- Off-load product from truck with electric pallet/hand jack
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal regulations
Skills/Knowledge/Licensing:
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Valid DOT Medical Certificate
- Min. 2 year experience operating CDL equipment and lift gates, preferred
- Must pass physical/drug testing, MVR and background checks
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills required
*Any offers of employment are contingent upon passing all required pre-employment testing
*Selected applicant will be required to join the 251 Local Union after 31 days of employment.
