LANDSTAR RANGER INC hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers for OTR operations operating out of the Allentown, PA area.
We are seeking dedicated and professional truck drivers for consistent over-the-road (OTR) routes. These are dedicated runs.

What You’ll Do –

• Operate trucks and trailer combination for over-the-road (OTR) routes
• Haul freight across various routes while ensuring safety and efficiency
• Perform duties in compliance with all DOT and Hazmat regulations
• Safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Follow dispatch instructions and maintain communication as required
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements –

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement
• Minimum 1 year of OTR experience in the last 3 years OR 2 years verifiable experience in the last 5 years
• Must be 23 years or older
• Must be able to pass a background check (processed through Landstar; takes up to 3 weeks)
• Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) – no DOT recordable or preventable accidents in the past 12 months
• No more than 1 serious violation in the past 36 months
• No DUI in the past 5 years
• No felony convictions in the past 7 years (case-by-case review for all records)
• No positive drug or alcohol tests on record
• Must be English proficient
• Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
• Ability to work independently

Additional Information –

• Equipment: Automatic Peterbilt – trucks under 15,000 lbs
• Experience with companies like FedEx, Covenant, and refrigerated outlets is preferred
• Willingness to stay on the road for a minimum of 3 weeks per trip

Schedule – Minimum 3 Weeks OTR (Average of 8-11 Hours, until route is complete)

Wage Range: 1500.00 – 1800.00 per week
